Barcelona Wine Week 2020
- What? Barcelona Wine Week
- When? 3 to 5 February 2020
- Where? Fira de Barcelona, Montjuïc
Fira de Barcelona is launching a new trade show: Barcelona Wine Week, to be held from 3 to 5 February, bringing together 600 wineries from 37 countries at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue across more than 30,000 m2.
Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) was created to showcase the diversity and quality of the wine market and to highlight what Spain’s different wine regions have to offer. It replaces the Intervin show, which used to be held as part of the Alimentaria fair.

This first edition of BWW will feature everything from major wine groups and leading brands to new projects emerging in the sector, with a strong presence of wines under various quality labels, including Vinos de Pago, Denominación de Origen and Vinos de la Tierra. There will also be Wine Talks Tours, wine routes along Barcelona’s main shopping streets (Illa Diagonal, Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla de Catalunya).
There will also be space for organic and biodynamic wines and for products and wineries that make sustainability their hallmark. Spirits will also be represented, as well as equipment, utensils, accessories and services for the sector.
Other activities at Barcelona Wine Week
Barcelona Wine Week will also include BWWHub, with sensory experiences linked to the world of wine; BWWGastronomy, highlighting the Mediterranean diet and the nutritional value of wine; Barcelona Cocktail Art, dedicated to cocktails and spirits; and BWW likes the city, to involve the whole city in the event.
