The Mobile World Congress is back again in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2 at the Fira de Barcelona facilities. The MWC is the world’s largest event for mobile technologies and over the years the presentation of other innovative technologies have also joined the congress.

After a few years marked by restrictions due to the Covid pandemic, the MWC is back with strength, many novelties and the presence of most prestigious technological brands, as well as a program full of conferences by the most influential speakers and CEOs in the world. With the motto ‘Velocity. Unleashing Tomorrow’s technology today’, which focuses on the expansion and speed of global internet connectivity, MWC23 will present tomorrow’s technologies to the public and analyze other growing markets such as 5G Acceleration, the cloud, the Internet of Things Things (IOT), virtual and augmented reality, the metaverse, blockchain, quantum computing or rare earths, essential for technological production.

A MWC without Covid restrictions

On a practical level, there are no longer any restrictions in Barcelona due to Covid. Those attending MWC 2023 will be able to access the venue without the need for a mask or covid test, just as it is no longer necessary to wear a mask on public transport.
