With Barcelona’s rise in the recent years of cupcakes, foundant and icing decorations for cakes and personalized cookies, it is normal that Bcn&Cake 2012, the first fair of pastries to be held in Barcelona arrives at this point.
Barcelona discovered only a few years ago cupcakes and foundant cakes, but the success of these pastries has been such that in this short time the city is full of beautiful shops offering this type of sweets, as delicious as visually appealing. With this background and only a few weeks before Christmas, the BCN&CAKE 2012 will be held on the 24th and 25th of November 2012.
The fair is organized with the aim of bringing together this highly dispersed sector and has been designed for both trade visitors as well as normal citizens, which is why in BCN&CAKE 2012 you will be able to taste cakes, attend workshops to learn new techniques of decoration, enter contests or go, if you come with your children, to the “Kids Zone” designed so that the little ones can also have their fun.
The participation of exhibitors from BCN&CAKE 2012 has exceeded all expectations, which is why the place to house the event has been moved from the FAD, to the Montjuïc venue in Fira de Barcelona. In addition, many of the courses and workshops that have been organized are already full. The expectation is then, of course, big and there will be plenty of activities, so you cannot miss this event!
