The Formula 1 World Championship is already warming up and ready to test all motor and technological developments in the next Formula One Test Days to be held in Montmelo, at the Circuit de Catalunya, from 19 to 22 February and from 28 February to March 3, 2013.

The Circuit de Catalunya, also known as Circuit de Montmeló, is one of the world’s favorite tracks for Formula 1, and it is the only one that holds some of the training sessions, the Formula 1 Test Days, as well as a Grand Prix.

The Formula 1 Test Days are training days that the different teams use to test the changes made during the months that the Formula 1 championship is resting.

These 2013 F1 Test Days are especially interesting due to the important changes in the pneumatics of Pirelli. Pirelli says the harder compound will heat up faster and thus allow higher speeds, but also the differences between the compounds will be higher, so the pneumatic strategy will have an even greater importance.

As per the changes in the teams, Red Bull, Ferrari and Lotus keep their pilots (Red Bull: Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel; Ferrari: Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa; Lotus: Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean) but we must highlight Michael Schumacher’s retirement from Formula 1 racing whose position in Mercedes has been covered by Lewis Hamilton. Another highlight is Sergio Perez signing for McLaren.
