3GSM, the largest exhibition at international level on the world of mobile devices, is back in Barcelona from 14 to 17 February 2011 with new activities. This event, held in our city since 2008, takes in a very large number of exhibitors and visitors that during those days fill Barcelona. This year, between 52,000 and 55,000 participants are expected to attend, coming from 200 different countries worldwide. There will be over 1,300 exhibitors, for which Fira de Barcelona has decided to expand the space committed for this event that is still held on Montjuïc. 3GSM World Congress 2011 Mobile wants to build on the success that "App Planet”, a space dedicated to mobile devices software developers, harvested last year with the creation of the competition "Brand Challenge", which invites developers to create applications for the exhibiting brands. The competition began in October and the winners will be announced during the congress in Barcelona. Nokia has decided not to attend this important event this year but, on the other side, Google will have a stand for the first time.
